If I Say No

The film circulates around young girls that are not as sympathetic as they are raised to be. Which is an important theme for me, to create female characters that commit mistakes and to widen the standards for what we believe is characteristic for girls.

It's 1:30 after midnight, the cold is sneaking. The streets leading to the checkpoint named ‘300’ which allocated to cross from Bethlehem to Jerusalem are empty and silent. The apartheid wall touches the checkpoint; the coffee man is preparing his stuff, while close to him, his father who passed over his 50s already started displaying their wares on wooden planks to be seen. All awaits the arrival of hundreds of workers shortly after, and what will happen next is something that eyes don't often see.

Arne and Leif, two brothers living in the north of Sweden. Although both in their fifties, they still have big issues communicate with one another. This story takes place in a small boat in the middle of a quiet lake. Everything seems peaceful, but it is merely the calm before the storm.

Brutalism

An animation made to mock the cold, brutal and inhumane political and social world. Through history, architecture has been used as an ideological state apparatus, with its designs and forms, empowered by hypnotizing effects. The rupturing of the Classical, which reflects much more of the individual’s personal and aesthetic influence, and replacing by designs of the Modernist and Brutalist, implies the eradication of personal expressions, defeated by coldness and indifference. Such architectural evolution is compared to the evolution of the art of communication among human beings.
